Ashburn, VA - The Washington Redskins announce today that former
Washington Redskin Ray Brown has joined Redskins.Com TV and will serve
as Co-host of Redskins Game Day to air Sundays at 11 AM this fall on
WTTG-TV Fox 5.

Redskins Game Day will preview the day's action and provide a complete
breakdown of the Redskins match-up, with an inside look at the possible
gameplan for the Redskins each week.

"We are thrilled to have Ray Brown on board with Redskins.com TV as a
co-host for Redskins Game Day, said Larry Michael, Senior VP/Executive
Producer Media for the Washington Redskins. "His 20 years in the league
gives him a unique perspective on the NFL, and having played for the
Redskins last year gives him a first hand knowledge of the team's
coaches and players."

Brown, retired at the conclusion of last season, following 20 years in
the NFL, including nine seasons with the Redskins. In all, Brown played
in 261 career games with 205 starts. A versatile player, he could play
either guard or tackle spot along the line, although he spent most of
his career at guard.

Originally an eighth round draft choice of the St. Louis Cardinals in
1986, Brown first joined the Redskins organization in 1989. Later, he
would go on to play six seasons in San Francisco and two in Detroit,
before returning to the Redskins in 2004.

"I'm really excited about the opportunity to work with Larry Michael and
being a part of the Redskins.com TV family," said Brown. "After 20 years
of playing in the NFL, I'm looking forward to being on the other side of
the camera on Sundays."
