In its inaugural year as an expansion franchise of Women's Professional Soccer, the Philadelphia Independence turned to Starbridge's experienced creative services team to develop a dynamic, multi-platform branding campaign. The branding initiative focused on Starbridge-created, visually impactful collateral material, including ticketing, direct-mail, and online banner advertisements. As a first-year franchise, the Independence turned to Starbridge's veteran team to develop a message that would both resonate with the Philadelphia community and establish the team's identity. Starbridge created the "REAL PHILLY" marketing campaign, embodying the tough, hard-working, no-nonsense attitude reflected in the organization's spirit and brand. Starbridge's creative efforts have jump-started the Independence's promotion efforts in a consistent manner, and have augmented the team's long-term marketing and ticketing initiatives.
